Jenny Mod Installation Guide – PC, Java, MCPE & Mobile Setup

I’m a die-hard Jenny Mod fan who has been using it for years. I’ve tried every version, fix, and new version on Java Edition (PC) and Minecraft Bedrock/MCPE (Mobile). So, I decided to make a complete installation guide for both beginners and experts.
There is no difference between installing Jenny Mod on a computer or a phone; I will show you how to do it safely and correctly. Let’s jump right in.
How to Install Jenny Mod Java Edition ?
What You Need:
- You need to run Minecraft Java Edition.
- How to Get Java 8+ on Your PC?
- Minecraft Forge 1.12.2 (mod driver).
- The Jenny Mod .jar file (Download link)
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Install Minecraft Forge
- Go to Forge 1.12.2.
- Get the software that was suggested.
- Pick “Install Client” from the software when it loads.
- When you’re done mining, make sure you’re using version 1.12.2 and open the Minecraft Launcher. Then, pick your Forge character.
Step 2: Look for the Mods files
- On your PC, press Win + R, type %appdata%, and press Enter.
- Find
.minecraft\modsand click on it. - The folder needs to be made if it doesn’t already exist.
Step 3: Add Jenny Mod
- Grab the Jenny Mod .Jar file from the link given above.
- It needs to be put in the mods folder.
Step 4: Start the game
- Pick out the Forge 1.12.2 version when you open Minecraft.
- Press “Play”.
- This is it! Just go into the world (I suggest creative mode) and use your spawn egg to make Jenny appear!
Expert Advice
- You have to use Java 1.12.2 because that’s the version I wrote Jenny Mod for.
- (For Best Performance, Use Optifine)
- Always save a copy of your worlds before you try to change them.
Put Jenny Mod – MCPE/Bedrock Edition (Mobile) in place
You can just put Jenny Mod on your phone, though! It works with Android phones and tablets that have Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.17 or higher. iOS only has minimal support.
What You Need:
- Minecraft PE or Bedrock Edition (v1.17 or later)
- Use a file manager, like ZArchiver.
- The Jenny Mod .mcaddon file (Download here)
Installation Step by Step (Android)
Step 1: Get the Mod
- Here is where you can get the .mcaddon file.
- You can use a File Manager or your browser to find the file you saved.
Step 2: Bring the file into Minecraft
- Click on the .mcaddon file.
- Now Minecraft will open itself and start to import it.
- Then you’ll see a message that says “Jenny Mod imported”
Step 3: Put the Mod in place
- Start Minecraft and press “Play”.
- To change or add policies, click the pencil (✏️).
- You can scroll down and turn on “Test Features”.
- Go to Behavior Packs > Behaviors Settings > Turn on Jenny Mod.
- To use Jenny Textures, go to Options > Resource Packs > Turn them on.
Step 4: Go out into the world
- Now, load the mod and start the world.
- In Creative Mode, you can find the Jenny spawn egg.
- Have fun with the mod.
Another way to do it by hand
If auto-import doesn’t work:
- Change the name of .mcaddon to zip and open it.
- Move:

games.com.mojang/behavior_packs - Resource Pack →
games.com.mojang/resource_packs
- Behavior Pack →
- Then, do what was said above and right-click on cabot in Minecraft.
